Delicious and easy recipe using pantry staples. Simple steps, food processor does the work. Perfect for all ages and fun for kids to help measure.
Ingredients:
  • 100 g unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 100 g mixed dried fruit & nuts
  • 100 g porridge oats
  • 100 g self-raising flour
  • 100 g golden syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/gas 4. Line a 20cm square baking tin with greaseproof paper and coat with olive oil. Combine butter, dried fruit, nuts, oats, and flour in a food processor until mixture forms a ball, then add syrup and pulse to combine. Press mixture into tin evenly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice into 16 squares. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy and share the goodness!
