Spicy buffalo cauliflower bites: Seasoned, gluten-free breaded cauliflower, oven-roasted, and glazed in hot honey sauce.
Ingredients:
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 0.75 cup gluten-free baking flour (such as Premium Gold® Flax and Ancient Grains All-Purpose Flour)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 heads cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix water, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until the batter is smooth and slightly runny.
  • Coat cauliflower pieces in batter until well covered, then spread on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Let cool.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in hot pepper sauce and honey until smooth.
  • Coat each cauliflower piece generously with the spicy hot sauce mixture until fully covered.
  • Place the cauliflower back in the oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
