Indulgent sauce of sour cream, mayo, and blue cheese perfectly complements buffalo wings.
Ingredients:
  • 12 Ingham Chicken Buffalo Wings
  • 2 rindless middle bacon rashers, coarsely chopped
  • 77.55 gm sour cream
  • 81.68 gm mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 60g mild blue cheese, rind removed, crumbled
  • 1/2 baby cos lettuce, trimmed, coarsely chopped or torn
  • 75g baby spinach leaves
  • 1 celery stalk, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 37.95 gm walnuts halves, toasted, roughly chopped
  • 4.00 gm brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Follow packet directions to cook the chicken and add bacon to a separate tray in the oven during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  • In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, half of the juice, and 1 tablespoon of water. Whisk until creamy, then fold in green onion and cheese, using a fork to break up the cheese.
  • In a large bowl, combine lettuce, spinach, celery, walnuts, bacon, oil, sugar, and juice. Gently toss to mix. Serve with blue cheese sauce and enjoy!
