Savory side dish featuring wild rice for distinct flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
  • 400g (2 cups) long-grain white rice
  • 200g wild rice
  • 60g (3 tbsp) butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Boil the long-grain rice and wild rice separately in salted water according to the package instructions until cooked. Drain and mix together in a large bowl, then set aside.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until sizzling. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Drizzle the mixture over the rice, stir well, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve the dish warm.
