Spicy carrot side dish shines with flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 30g (1 1/2 tbsp) butter, cubed
  • 1 bunch (about 15) Dutch (baby) carrots, unpeeled, scrubbed, tops trimmed
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.25 gm sweet paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 220°C. In an ovenproof dish, combine butter and carrots. Season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven, basting with juices once, until carrots are tender, about 15 minutes.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and generously sprinkle with paprika before serving promptly.
