Festive chocolate tartlets with elegant decorations.
Ingredients:
  • 250g packet Butternut Snap Cookies
  • 65g unsalted butter, chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
  • 200g milk chocolate or dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 180C. 2. Gently lay biscuits over the holes of a 12-hole (1 1/2 tablespoons) shallow patty pan. Bake for 2 minutes until pliable, then gently shape them into shells within the pan. Allow to cool and then transfer to a plate. Repeat with the rest of the biscuits.
  • Combine butter, cream, and chocolate in a pan over very low heat. Stir continuously for 7 minutes or until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate until slightly cooled.
  • Spoon 1 heaped teaspoons of chocolate filling into each tartlet shell, then refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm. Top the chocolate tartlets with suggested decorations from the notes.
