Indulge in these decadent butterscotch blondies for a delightful sweet treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup fat-free egg product
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat for about 6 minutes until it turns a light brown color, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a small bowl and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the egg product to the browned butter and whisk together. Pour the butter mixture over the flour mixture and stir until just moistened. Transfer the batter into the pan and even out the top with a spatula.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack for about 1 hour, then cut into 48 squares.
