Creamy white sauce with Parmesan and fontina cheese, perfect for any pasta dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ounces shredded fontina cheese
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and flour, cook and stir for about 1 minute until garlic is fragrant. Whisk in heavy cream and milk, heat until slightly thickened for about 10 minutes. Gradually stir in Parmesan and fontina cheeses. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer until cheese is melted and sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, for 20-30 minutes.
