Spice up your fish tacos with zesty cabbage slaw - crisp cabbage and red onion tossed in lime, cilantro, and jalapeño for a burst of flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 0.25 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 pinch white sugar
Instructions:
  • Combine cabbage, cilantro, onion, and jalapeño in a large bowl, and toss together.
  • Combine oil, lime juice, vinegar, salt, and sugar in a small bowl. Drizzle over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated. Allow it to marinate at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours before draining excess liquid. Serve at room temperature.
