Ingredients:
  • 0.5 tablespoon margarine (such as Earth Balance®)
  • 0.5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 medium head cabbage - cut into thick, short strips
  • 2 portobello mushroom caps, thickly sliced
  • 2 pinches kosher salt, or to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the margarine and olive oil until sizzling. Saute the cabbage in the fragrant mixture until soft, about 5 minutes, then season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Introduce the mushrooms and cook until tender, stirring frequently to blend flavors.
