Indulge in birthday cake pancakes for breakfast or any time. Fluffy and colorful, made with Bisquick™ and Betty Crocker™ Yellow Cake Mix, topped with sprinkles and a sweet glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix
  • 1 cup from 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 3 tablespoons from 1 container Betty Crocker™ Rainbow Sprinkles
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Additional Betty Crocker™ Rainbow Sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat griddle or skillet over medium heat to 350°F. Test the temperature by sprinkling a few drops of water - if bubbles jump around, it's ready.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk pancake ingredients until well combined.
  • Prepare the griddle by generously greasing it with vegetable oil or shortening. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the hot griddle. Allow the pancakes to cook until the edges are dry, then flip and continue cooking until they are golden brown. Transfer the cooked pancakes from the griddle to a serving plate. Repeat this process with the remaining batter.
  • Combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust thickness by adding milk in 1/2 teaspoon increments until desired drizzling consistency is achieved.
  • When ready to plate, generously drizzle the glaze over each pancake and sprinkle with extra candy sprinkles for a delightful finishing touch.
