Cheesy Cheddar and onion sauce baked on California veggies with a crispy cracker crust - an effortless and delicious side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (20 ounce) bags California-blend frozen vegetables
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1 sleeve buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®), crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Prepare a steamer by filling a saucepan with water until it reaches just below the steamer basket. Bring the water to a boil, then add the frozen vegetables. Cover and steam for 4 to 6 minutes until tender. Finally, transfer the vegetables to a baking dish.
  • Combine creamy mayonnaise, tangy sour cream, diced onion, and sharp Cheddar cheese in a bowl; drizzle over fresh vegetables. Toss crispy crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl and generously sprinkle over the vegetables.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown and bubbly, approximately 30 minutes.
