Try our zesty Cambodian catfish featuring onion, bell pepper, and ginger for a burst of flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 pound peeled, matchstick-cut fresh ginger
  • 4 (4 ounce) catfish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 0.25 red bell pepper, cut into thin matchsticks
  • 0.5 bunch green onions, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and stir ginger in hot oil until slightly softened and browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Add catfish fillets and cook until firm, approximately 3 minutes per side. Transfer the fillets to a plate and set aside.
  • Combine fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in the skillet. Add onion and red bell pepper; cook and stir until softened, around 4 minutes. Place catfish fillets back in the skillet and spoon sauce and veggies over them. Cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 3 minutes more. Serve garnished with green onions.
