Make sugared gelatin grape "eggs" for Easter dessert. Enjoy the fun dipping and rolling. Kids and adults will love these candy-coated treats.
Ingredients:
  • 4 to 5 (3-oz.) pkg. flavored gelatin (in various flavors)
  • 1 lemon
  • 60 large green grapes
Instructions:
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with wax paper. Divide the gelatin into 4 shallow bowls, ensuring that each flavor is kept separate. Squeeze the lemon juice into a separate small shallow bowl.
  • Skewer 1 grape with a toothpick at the stem end. Dip grape into lemon juice and let excess drip. Roll grape in your favorite gelatin until coated. Place on a baking sheet or tray and remove toothpick. Repeat with the rest of the grapes, lemon juice, and gelatin.
  • Allow the grapes to chill or freeze until the coating hardens, approximately 2 hours.
