Elevate your chick cupcakes with colorful coconut and candies for a fun and sweet twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix or 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded coconut
  • Yellow food color
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 48 brown miniature candy-coated chocolate baking bits
  • 24 small orange gumdrops
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare and bake the cake mix following the instructions on the box to make 24 cupcakes. Let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • In a resealable bag, combine coconut with about 8 drops of yellow food coloring. Seal the bag and shake until evenly coated. Frost the cupcakes and sprinkle with the yellow coconut. Use brown baking bits for the eyes and cut orange gumdrops to create beaks. Store the cupcakes loosely covered.
