Magic roasted pumpkin seeds with cinnamon, cayenne, ginger, and brown sugar for a delightful sweet and spicy flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 4 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 0.5 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3.5 cups roasted unsalted pumpkin seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for a perfect bake. Get your baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, water, salt, molasses, cumin, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well. Add pumpkin seeds and stir until coated. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until crispy. Remove from the oven, carefully slide or lift the parchment paper off the baking sheet, and allow to cool completely on the counter. Break up any clumps with your hands and serve.
