Indulgent hot chocolate made with melted semisweet chocolate and crushed candy canes, topped with whipped cream and a candy cane.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 4 peppermint candy canes, crushed
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 4 small peppermint candy canes
Instructions:
  • Heat the milk in a saucepan until hot but not boiling, then whisk in the chocolate and crushed peppermint candies until smooth and melted.
  • Divide the hot cocoa evenly among four mugs, top each with a dollop of whipped cream, and serve with a candy-cane stirring stick in each mug.
