Fun and easy cake baked in ice cream cones for a delicious treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 24 flat-bottom ice cream cones
  • 2 tubs (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting (or your favorite flavor)
  • Assorted candies and decorations, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans).
  • Line 24 regular size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Prepare cake batter according to box instructions. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups and place an ice cream cone upside down on top of each cup.
  • Bake for 14 to 19 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean. Let it cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans with the cone side up onto a cooling rack. Allow it to cool completely for about 30 minutes before carefully removing the paper baking cups.
  • Cover the cakes generously with frosting and then decorate them before storing them loosely covered.
