Gooey caramel cups - perfect for gifting!
Ingredients:
  • 150g dark cooking chocolate
  • 80g Mars Bar, finely chopped
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) thickened cream
Instructions:
  • Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water, ensuring the bowl does not touch the water. Stir with a metal spoon until smooth.
  • Brush a thick layer of chocolate inside each small foil cup using a clean paintbrush. Invert the cups onto a wire rack. Let them sit for 20 minutes until chocolate sets. Melt any remaining chocolate over simmering water.
  • Gently melt the Mars Bar and cream in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly. Then, fill the chocolate cups with the mixture.
  • Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top of the caramel. Allow it to cool in a cool place for 3-4 hours, or until firm.
