Indulge in a refreshing, guilt-free orange dessert using fresh, ripe oranges.
Ingredients:
  • 55g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) thickened cream
  • 25g butter
  • 4 oranges, peeled, white pith removed, cut into 1cm-thick slices
  • 130g (1/2 cup) European-style natural yoghurt (Nestle brand)
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt butter with sugar and cream. Stir occasionally for 2 minutes until butter is melted. Add orange slices and heat through for 2 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Combine the yogurt and cinnamon in a small bowl, stirring until fully mixed.
  • Arrange the orange slices on serving plates, generously drizzle with caramel sauce, and add a dollop of flavorful cinnamon yogurt. Serve promptly for a delightful treat.
