Grilled brioche with caramelised oranges

Ingredients:
  • 1 x brioche loaf
  • 118.80 gm brown sugar
  • 131.25 gm orange juice
  • 1 orange, thickly sliced in rounds
  • ricotta or thick cream to serve
Instructions:
  • Slice brioche thickly and toast until golden. In a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, combine brown sugar and orange juice until sugar dissolves. Add orange slices to the pan and caramelize until golden. Serve caramelized oranges and sauce over the brioche slices with a dollop of ricotta or thick cream.
