Indulge in a cozy winter treat with our easy Caramilk baked custard recipe for a decadent twist on a classic dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 70g (1/3 cup) caster sugar
  • 310ml (1 1/4 cups) milk
  • 310ml (1 1/4 cups) pouring cream
  • 180g block Caramilk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 0.63 gm ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 150C (130C fan forced) and generously grease a 15L (6 cup) baking dish.
  • Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl, whisking until well blended.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, cream and chocolate. Stir constantly until smooth. Pour into egg mixture and whisk until combined. Strain into prepared dish.
  • Place the dish in a deep roasting pan and carefully pour boiling water into the pan until it reaches halfway up the sides of the dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until the custard is just set with a slight wobble in the center.
  • Sprinkle with fragrant cinnamon before presenting.
