Indulgent Caramilk custard nestled between buttery Malt 'o' Milk cookies - irresistible no-bake treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 x 320g pkts malt o milk biscuits
  • 85.80 gm custard powder
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 772.50 gm milk
  • 180g Caramilk chocolate, chopped
  • 150ml thickened cream, whipped
  • Icing sugar, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare a slice pan by greasing a 3cm-deep, 20x30cm pan and lining it with baking paper so that it overhangs the sides. Place half of the biscuits on the base of the pan, trimming them if needed to fit.
  • In a saucepan, combine custard powder and sugar, then pour in 1/2 cup of milk to create a smooth paste. Gradually mix in the rest of the milk. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling, then cook for 2 minutes. Take off the heat and stir in Caramilk until smooth. Allow to cool completely, stirring occasionally, then gently mix in whipped cream.
  • Evenly spread the luscious custard over the buttery biscuit base, creating a smooth surface. Layer another set of biscuits on top, trimming as needed. Chill in the fridge for 4 hours to achieve the perfect set.
  • Sprinkle the slice with a delicate layer of icing sugar, then slice it into perfectly even pieces using a sharp knife before serving.
