Keto-friendly BBQ sauce with mustard, cider vinegar, spices, and a touch of sweetness.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 0.5 cup granular no-calorie sucralose sweetener (e.g., Splenda ®)
  • 0.75 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
Instructions:
  • Combine mustard, sweetener, cider vinegar, chili powder, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add soy sauce, butter, and liquid smoke to the mixture and let it simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Allow it to cool completely, then refrigerate overnight to enhance the flavors before serving.
