Savory smoked pork ribs slathered in tangy, spicy mustard sauce, inspired by South Carolina flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup white vinegar
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup molasses
  • 2 cups prepared mustard
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 racks pork spareribs
  • 0.5 cup barbeque seasoning, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine brown sugar, lemon juice, white vinegar, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, and mustard in a medium bowl. Season generously with garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, white pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill or smoker to a gentle 225-250 degrees F (110-120 degrees C).
  • Coat ribs generously with BBQ seasoning and smoke or grill until tender, about 4 hours. Meat should easily come off the bone. Brush with mustard sauce every 30 minutes towards the end of cooking. Heat extra sauce until boiling and serve alongside ribs.
