Transform a cookie pizza into cute carrot slices, perfect for a festive spring or Easter treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for Drop Cookies
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ orange gel food color
  • 1/2 cup orange candy sprinkles
  • 4 green sour candy straws, cut into thin strips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously coat a 14-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie mix, butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown and baked through in the center. Allow to cool completely for about 45 minutes before serving.
  • Combine frosting and orange food color in a small bowl until you reach your desired orange shade. Then, spread the tinted frosting evenly over the cooled cookie, making sure to cover the entire surface. Sprinkle with candy sprinkles right away and cut the cookie into 16 triangle-shaped pieces, wiping the knife clean between each cut.
  • Transfer the items from the pan to a serving platter with precision. Garnish with cut candy to resemble carrot tops, referencing the photo for guidance.
