Carrots with a kick from cumin, zesty orange, and fragrant thyme for a uniquely delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 400 g baby carrots scrubbed
  • 1 small bunch fresh thyme
  • 1 small pinch cumin seeds
  • 1 orange zest of
  • 250 g unsalted butter softened
Instructions:
  • Rinse thyme stalks in hot water for 20 seconds. Remove leaves when cool. Blend thyme leaves, cumin seeds, orange zest, and butter in a food processor. Spread butter mixture onto a 30cm square piece of greaseproof paper. Roll paper tightly into a cylinder shape. Chill in the fridge until set. Steam carrots for 10 minutes, then toss with slices of the flavored butter in a warm bowl. Enjoy!
