Cauliflower, potato and pea mash

Elevate your mash with cauliflower for Vitamin C and peas for protein.
Ingredients:
  • 650g cauliflower
  • 350g potato
  • 125.00 ml frozen peas
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 20g butter
  • 165.00 ml grated pecorino cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, combine cauliflower and potato and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add peas in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain thoroughly.
  • Combine vegetables back in the pan over gentle heat, stirring for 1 minute or until any extra liquid disappears. Proceed to mash until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  • Combine the milk, butter, and cheese in the mixture, then season with salt and pepper before serving.
