Chai sausage crescent rolls: Flaky crescent rolls filled with warm chai spices and savory sausage, baked golden-brown for a quick and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 8 links fully-cooked breakfast sausage
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered chai latte mix, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Lay the sausages on a plate and give them a quick zap in the microwave for about 30 seconds to warm them up.
  • Spread a generous layer of 1/2 teaspoon chai mix on a plate. Unroll crescent roll dough and coat one side of a triangle in the chai powder. Position a sausage link at the widest part of the dough triangle, then roll it up. Transfer the roll to the baking sheet.
  • Continue wrapping the remaining crescent rolls around the sausages, making sure to use more chai mix if necessary.
  • Bake in the hot oven until golden brown and the sausage is heated through, around 10 to 12 minutes.
