Spice up this simple dessert with a tantalizing blend of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and clove.
Ingredients:
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
  • 0.5 orange, zested
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 orange, peeled and chopped
Instructions:
  • Drop the tea bag into the steaming hot water and let it soak until it reaches your preferred strength. Combine gelatin in a bowl. Mix the brewed tea into the gelatin until fully dissolved. Add orange zest, cinnamon, cardamom, sugar, almond extract, ginger, cloves, and honey, mixing well. Gently fold in diced orange. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator until firm, which usually takes 2 to 3 hours.
