Champagne Sorbet with Berry Medley

Champagne sorbet on fresh berries for a stunning dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle champagne
  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
Instructions:
  • Combine champagne and sugar in a shallow metal pan or bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until the mixture is firm and granular.
  • Transfer the sorbet mixture into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture back into the metal container, cover it, and freeze for up to 48 hours.
  • In a small bowl, mix together strawberries and blueberries. Fill champagne flutes or wine glasses with the mixed berries, then scoop sorbet on top. Add a sprig of mint for extra freshness, if desired.
