Chargrilled chicken kebabs

Delicious kebabs loved by kids, great on barbecue or grill.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 cm piece of ginger
  • 140 g natural yoghurt
  • 60 ml passata
  • olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 4 free-range skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 large red pepper
Instructions:
  • Soak 12 wooden skewers in cold water to prevent burning. Grate peeled garlic and ginger into a bowl. Mix in yogurt, passata, 1 tbsp of oil, and spices. Cut chicken into chunks, season with salt, then coat in the marinade. Chill for 2 hours. Chop pepper into chunks. Thread chicken and pepper onto skewers. Cook on a hot griddle for 10-15 minutes, turning every 2 minutes until golden and cooked through. Serve with salad and rice or flatbreads.
