Charred iceberg salad with buttermilk and chive dressing

BBQ side: Iceberg lettuce with creamy buttermilk chive dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, cut into 6 wedges
  • 80ml buttermilk
  • 70g yoghurt
  • 20.00 ml white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 garlic clove, crushed
  • 40.00 ml chives, chopped
  • 62.50 ml chopped hazelnuts, toasted
Instructions:
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat. Grill the lettuce wedges for 2 minutes on each side until charred. Arrange on a serving platter.
  • Combine the buttermilk, yogurt, vinegar, garlic, and half of the chives in a small bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the lettuce and top with hazelnuts and remaining chives before serving.
