Creamy carbonara made without eggs for a luscious twist that will delight everyone.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package linguine pasta
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook linguine until al dente, about 11 minutes, adding peas during the last minute of cooking. Drain and keep warm in a bowl.
  • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned for about 10 minutes. Transfer the bacon to paper towels, leaving 1 tablespoon of drippings in the skillet.
  • Sauté garlic in the skillet for 1 minute. Then, lower the heat and mix in the milk and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the linguine, then add the sauce and Parmesan cheese, stirring until everything is evenly coated.
