Elevate your pasta with creamy cheese and vibrant frozen peas!
Ingredients:
  • 375.00 ml dried macaroni pasta
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 4 rashers middle bacon, trimmed, chopped
  • 505.00 gm pure cream
  • 23.40 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 375.00 ml frozen peas
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 187.50 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • 312.50 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until it's tender. Then, drain the cooked pasta.
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, sizzle the bacon in oil, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until it begins to brown. Toss in the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Mix in the cream and mustard, and continue stirring for 2 to 3 minutes until everything is warm. Take off the heat and gently fold in the peas, macaroni, and onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy your creamy pasta dish!
  • Transfer the mixture into a large ovenproof dish with an 8 cup capacity. Top it off with a generous sprinkle of breadcrumbs and cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and cheese is perfectly melted. Serve and enjoy!
