Quick and irresistible flaky biscuits in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2/3 cup light beer
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded pizza cheese blend (5 oz)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine Bisquick mix, beer, garlic powder, and 1 cup of cheese in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Take the dough and place it on a surface dusted with more Bisquick mix. Knead the dough 10 times, then roll it out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out biscuits using a floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Transfer the biscuits to an ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheese evenly over the biscuits, about 1 teaspoon on each, then sprinkle with pepper.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Brush biscuits with melted butter and serve warm.
