Cheesy Broccoli Puffs with Sriracha Mayonnaise

Spicy party puffs with zesty Sriracha Mayo topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen broccoli & cheese sauce
  • 3/4 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 slices precooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • Sliced green onions, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 24 mini muffin cups generously with shortening or cooking spray. Cook broccoli according to package instructions for the minimum time required. Chop the cooked broccoli.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, crushed red pepper, salt, milk, and eggs until smooth. Gently fold in broccoli, cheese sauce, Parmesan cheese, and bacon. Divide the mixture evenly among the cups - they should be filled to the top.
  • Bake for 16 to 18 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the tops are light brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Use a thin knife to loosen the sides of the puffs from the pan and transfer them to a cooling rack.
  • Combine the mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce in a small bowl until creamy. Spoon the mixture onto each warm puff and sprinkle with chopped green onion for garnish.
