Cheesy Italian Shells and Peas

Elevate cheesy Italian Shells by adding vibrant sweet peas and fresh tomatoes post-cooking for a burst of color and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Hamburger Helper™ mix for cheesy Italian Shells
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/3 cups hot water
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, sear ground beef until golden and then discard excess fat.
  • Combine uncooked pasta and sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper box with milk and hot water in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower the heat, add peas, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  • Let the sauce thicken as it cools.
