"5-ingredient cheesy pull-apart bread, a delicious and simple appetizer for hectic evenings."
Ingredients:
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf round sourdough bread, unsliced
  • 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onion, green parts only
  • 3 teaspoons poppy seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a perfect 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Slice the bread widthwise into 1-inch slices, making sure to leave 1/2 inch at the bottom of the loaf intact. Make another set of cuts in the opposite direction. Tear the cheese slices into small pieces and stuff them into the cuts of the bread.
  • Combine rich butter, fresh green onions, and aromatic poppy seeds. Generously drizzle over the bread, ensuring both sides are brushed with the flavorful butter mixture. Enclose the bread in foil and position it on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove bread from wrapping and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
