Upgrade Hawaiian rolls by stuffing with string cheese, brushing with parsley-garlic butter, and baking for a delicious party appetizer or dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 mozzarella string cheese
  • 5 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Next, gently slice each roll open with a paring knife, creating a 1/2-inch-wide opening to hollow out a small hole without cutting through entirely.
  • Cut the string cheese in half lengthwise and place one half in each roll. Arrange the rolls closely together in a baking dish.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cover loosely with a paper towel and microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring halfway through, until melted. Brush the melted butter mixture generously over each roll, then top with grated Parmesan.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven until the rolls are beautifully golden brown and lightly toasted, for 15 to 18 minutes.
