Cheesy garlic stuffed pasta shells, baked to perfection in savory spaghetti sauce for the ultimate comfort dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package jumbo pasta shells
  • 4 cups large curd cottage cheese
  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.75 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Instructions:
  • Prepare all the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add shells and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender but firm. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
  • Combine the cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Gently rub oregano and parsley between your palms to release their flavors, then mix into the cheese mixture.
  • Fill pasta shells with the delicious cheese mixture.
  • Layer the bottom of a 15x10-inch baking dish with one-third of the spaghetti sauce. Fill the shells, placing them seam-side up, snugly in the dish. Pour the rest of the sauce over the top and then sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes until bubbly. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
