Irresistible double chocolate chip cookies, a beloved Christmas tradition among friends and family for their decadent richness.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.25 cups butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large bowl, mix sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; combine with the creamed mixture. Lastly, fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 9 minutes until the cookies are soft and perfectly baked.
  • Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
