Indulge in decadently soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, a delightful twist on the classic crispy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5 cups butter, softened
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1.25 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and sift together the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, and baking soda; then set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in the eggs and vanilla until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture. Gently fold in the chocolate chips with a wooden spoon, and add walnuts if desired. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at the preheated oven for 10 to 14 minutes until the edges turn a light golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
