Impress your neighbors with spooky Halloween finger cookies!
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggwhites
  • 107.50 gm caster sugar
  • green food colouring
  • 40.00 ml flaked almonds
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 150°C/130°C fan-forced. Grease and line 3 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Beat egg whites and sugar in an electric mixer on high speed for 8-10 minutes, or until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add green food coloring to the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture into a large resealable plastic bag. Cut a 1cm hole from one corner of the bag. Squeeze the mixture onto prepared trays to create 10cm finger-shaped cookies, placing them 3cm apart. Top each finger with a flaked almond to create a nail.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until the cookies are firm to the touch and the almonds are golden. Allow to cool on trays before serving.
