Chex® Caramel-Chocolate Drizzles

Indulge in a irresistible homemade treat that tastes as good as candy and disappears in no time.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 bag (14-oz size) caramels (about 25)
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 300°F and grease a 15x10x1-inch pan. Combine cereals in a large bowl.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, gently melt caramels with milk and butter, stirring constantly. Drizzle over cereals, mix until well-coated, then spread evenly in a pan.
  • Bake for 20-24 minutes, stirring halfway through, until beautifully golden. Allow to cool on waxed paper for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for about 1 minute until smooth, stirring occasionally (bowl will be hot). Drizzle melted chocolate over snack, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes until set. Store in an airtight container.
