Create a delicious and unique dish from a user-generated recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 170g rolled oats
  • 100g walnuts
  • 40g shredded coconut
  • 45g chia seeds
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
  • 10.00 gm unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 8.80 gm natural vanilla extract
  • 500g pitted dates, chopped
  • Pure icing sugar,for dusting (optional)
Instructions:
  • Combine oats, walnuts, coconut, chia seeds, cinnamon, cocoa, and vanilla in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  • Gradually drop the dates into the running mixer until fully incorporated and the mixture begins to form. Use your hands to combine everything thoroughly, adding 1-2 teaspoons of cold water if needed to help bind it.
  • Evenly distribute the mixture in a 20cm (8 inch) cake tin, using the back of a metal spoon to firmly smooth the surface. Refrigerate until serving.
  • Before presenting, sprinkle with powdered sugar and slice into delicate wedges.
