Enjoy crispy schnitzels with mashed potato, kale, and creamy mushroom garlic sauce for a simple and delicious family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x Mushroom & Garlic Finishing Sauce 165g
  • 4 chicken schnitzels (see note)
  • 60g (1 cup) panko breadcrumbs
  • 25g (1/4 cup) finely grated Parmesan
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 1 eggs
  • 75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • Steamed kale, to serve
  • Mashed potato, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and parsley. In a separate bowl, whisk milk and eggs together, and in another bowl, season flour with salt and pepper.
  • Coat the schnitzel in flour, shake off excess, dip in the egg mixture, and finish with a layer of breadcrumbs. Repeat with the remaining schnitzels.
  • In a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, sear schnitzels for 3 minutes on each side until they're golden and fully cooked. While the schnitzels are cooking, warm Gravox Mushroom & Garlic Finishing Sauce as per the packet instructions.
  • Plate the schnitzels alongside creamy mashed potatoes, tender steamed kale or spinach, and drizzle with the savory mushroom and garlic sauce.
