Chicken, rice and bok choy mash

Introduce your baby to tasty chicken, rice, and bok choy puree. Perfect for 8+ months.
Ingredients:
  • 50g basmati rice
  • 100g chicken breast fillet, diced
  • 430ml water
  • 150g bok choy, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Thoroughly rinse rice under cold running water until water runs clear, then drain.
  • Bring tender chicken pieces and fresh water to a lively boil in a small saucepan. Lower the heat to a gentle medium and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Introduce crisp bok choy and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Transfer the chicken and bok choy to a food processor or blender using a slotted spoon.
  • Add rice to boiling water and simmer for 12 minutes or until slightly overcooked. Save 1/4 cup (60ml) of cooking water. Drain rice.
  • Combine chicken and bok choy in a blender or food processor along with a splash of reserved water until smooth. Mix in rice and gently mash with a fork.
