Cheesy chicken Alfredo casserole - a quick and delicious twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (8 ounce) package penne pasta
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place the chicken in a pot and cover it with water. Bring to a high boil, then lower the heat and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear, about 15 minutes.
  • Simultaneously, boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook penne until al dente, about 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain well.
  • Dice the cooked chicken into bite-size pieces after draining.
  • Combine the chicken, noodles, Alfredo sauce, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large bowl, then mix until well combined.
  • Transfer mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and generously sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake until gooey and bubbling in a preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes.
