Impressively quick one-pan Alfredo with chicken, peas, and ziti. Perfect scratch dinner done in just 40 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • 3 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 8 oz uncooked ziti pasta (2 1/2 cups)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded deli rotisserie chicken
  • 3/4 cup frozen sweet peas
  • Chopped Italian (flat-leaf) parsley, if desired
Instructions:
  • Heat butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until melted. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in broth, pasta, salt, and pepper, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 12 to 14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  • Combine whipping cream and Parmesan cheese into the saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently until bubbly. Add chicken and frozen sweet peas, stir occasionally, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until heated through.
  • Allow the dish to rest for 5 minutes to enhance flavors, then top with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
